L'Alliance pour la vérité

L’Alliance pour la Vérité est un réseau d’organisations de la société civile (OSC) opérant à travers le Nigéria et la République du Niger, qui se consacre à exposer les tactiques déployées par les groupes extrémistes violents pour recruter des jeunes.
Avec un accent sur le bassin du lac Tchad, nos organisations membres rassemblent des années d’expertise dans la prévention et la lutte contre l’extrémisme violent (P/CVE), en particulier dans les communautés les plus vulnérables à l’influence de groupes tels que Boko Haram.

Au cours des trois dernières années, nous avons exploité l’expertise, l’expérience et les réseaux de nos partenaires pour susciter des changements significatifs dans les communautés profondément affectées par le recrutement d’extrémistes.
Grâce à un large éventail d’activités – notamment l’engagement communautaire, la programmation radiophonique et les campagnes numériques – nous avons touché des millions de personnes, en partageant des histoires réelles de résilience et de survie.
Ces histoires sont racontées par les voix de ceux qui les ont vécues, ainsi que par leurs amis et leurs familles, ce qui permet de mieux comprendre l’impact de l’extrémisme.

Notre engagement va au-delà de la sensibilisation ; nous visons à donner aux communautés les outils et les connaissances nécessaires pour résister à l’attrait des extrémistes violents.
En créant des plateformes de dialogue et de collaboration, nous travaillons en étroite collaboration avec les dirigeants locaux, les éducateurs et les jeunes pour construire des communautés résilientes capables de résister à la radicalisation et au recrutement d’extrémistes violents.

« Nous, soussignés, nous sommes réunis parce que nous pensons que le moment est venu de dire la vérité sur la vie au sein des groupes qui recrutent nos jeunes pour rejoindre leurs rangs violents.

Avec des centaines de personnes qui les abandonnent chaque jour, nous savons aujourd’hui à quoi ressemblait vraiment la vie à l’intérieur, quelles vérités étaient cachées à ceux qui les rejoignaient, quelles libertés étaient supprimées, comment la pensée était punie, les rêves étaient écrasés et l’espoir abandonné.

Nous accueillons chaque survivant dans notre famille, où nous travaillons chaque jour pour qu’il réintègre sa communauté et retrouve le soutien de sa famille, où l’espoir peut renaître et la vie recommencer.

Nous rendons hommage aux courageux survivants qui ont choisi de raconter leur histoire.

Nous savons maintenant que la vie à l’extérieur, aussi dure soit-elle, bat la mort à l’intérieur.

Nous nous engageons à travailler ensemble jusqu’à ce que plus personne ne tombe dans leur piège.

Comme le savent tous les parents, amis, frères et sœurs, si c’est trop beau pour être vrai, c’est souvent le cas.

Neem Foundation is a leading crisis response organisation committed to promoting the protection and wellbeing of populations and communities living in contexts affected by conflict, violence, and fragility.

We strengthen the resilience and capacity of crisis-affected communities acrossNigeria and the Lake Chad Basin region to adopt inclusive approaches to recovery from the effects of instability and mitigate future crises. We achieve these by providing and raising the standards of mental health and psychosocial support for trauma-affected populations.

We design and deliver reintegration and stabilisation services that target displaced communities as well as former associates of violent armed groups. Through our communications and advocacy work, we influence narratives and collaborate with credible stakeholders to promote social cohesion, reconciliation, and community action to maintain peace and progress.

Our education component advocates for, and improves access to, quality education for marginalised and disadvantaged groups, especially girls, while our research work leverages key partnerships with global research institutions to inform evidence-based approaches to crisis interventions.

Taimako Community Development Initiative (Taimako-CDI/TAIMAKO-CDI) is a non-profit, non-ethnic, non-political and non-religious organization, whose major objectives is improving rural and urban communities through developmental and self –help driven programmes, initiatives and activities. The organization has functional and equipped Offices in Bauchi, Borno and Yobe States, North-East, Nigeria.

Taimako-CDI was established in 2008 and registered with the Bauchi, Borno and Yobe State Ministries of Youth and Social Development under club and association matters. Taimako-CDI was also registered with the Federal Government of Nigeria under the Corporate Affairs Commission (C.A.C.), Abuja on 23rd May 2014.

Taimako has proven to be an ideal sculptor of a society in Bauchi, Borno and Yobe States working closely with rural and urban communities and has established a niche and good working relationships with all the relevant stakeholders and conforms to national/international standards and best practices.

CENSCOPE is a non-profit organization that focuses on promoting the ideals of self-sustainability, equality and social justice to the members of the society, it was founded in the year 2014 out of the need to give succor and support to the victim of arm conflict and natural disasters in Nigeria.

CENSCOPE focuses mainly on promoting social cohesion, preventing and countering the narratives of violent extremism, conflict management, mitigation of human right abuses and gender based violence, promoting the principle of good governance and good public policy formulation, empowerment and provision of humanitarian services, lifesaving and livelihood skills to victims of violent conflict, as well as promoting political participation and social inclusion on the basis of gender, religion and disability.

CENSCOPE is enhancing and strengthening the fabrics and structures of the society, and as well creating equal and sustaining empowerment opportunities across to members of the society. CENSCOPE partners with critical government institutions, private sector, philanthropies and non-governmental organizations in actualizing its mandate

XPeace Associates is an indigenous innovation center that locally drives globally supported peace and security interventions with the aim of bridging the gap between interventions and the communities targeted, by creating a safe space where communities and young people can take ownership of projects and drive them using a context-based approach.

XPeace leverages on creativity and grass-roots data to inform its engagement with partners and communities.

Founded in 2018, CATAI has been on mission to enhance service delivery through citizen empowerment. We also seek to promote a just society for all regions in Nigeria through advocacy, research, impact, and innovation by embarking on outreach and advocacy for institutional reforms, capacity building, and citizen empowerment. We strengthen local communities by creating platforms for dialogue, enabling informed debates, and building the capacity of citizens to act as catalysts for their societal issues through our innovations.

CATAI is committed to advocating and promoting quality education, especially for the girl child in marginalized communities using technological means, to enable children to acquire knowledge that will increase their productivity.

CATAI provides marginalized and vulnerable communities with resources to amplify their voices with independence and integrity while providing the communities with social, economic, and environmental progress to enhance effective democratic governance, citizen participation, and civic engagement.

African Youth for Peace Development and Empowerment Foundation, (AFRYDEV) is a fast-growing youth and Women-led nongovernmental, humanitarian, and development organization established in 2013 with the mission to serve as a platform for enlightenment and empowerment of youth society for peace and development through active participation by mainstreaming their issues and concerns into national development agenda based on United Nation Sustainable Development Goals.

Over the years, AFRYDEV has built technical experience in the design, development, and implementation of women and youth-focused activities in the Northeast and Northwest centered on Civic engagement, peace building, and Socio-economic Development. AFRYDEV has over the years implemented numerous projects in the areas of Health, Education, Peace building, Early recovery and resilience building, livelihood, Protection; Gender Based Violence and Mines Action.

The Association of Youth for Peace and Development (AYOPAD) is an advocacy NGO registered with Yobe State. AYOPAD’s major focus is fostering in young people an understanding of concepts surrounding peacebuilding issues. AYOPAD organises training programmes for young people to promote participation in the prevention of conflict and in the democratisation process in Nigeria.

Centre for Community Development and Research Network (CCDRN) is a local Non-governmental organization, with registration number: CAC/IT/NO 91160, under the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission Act. CCDRN envision a society in which governance andJ development are communities driven.

Our overall mission engenders partnership with communities/groups to achieve recreation and rebuilding on the principles of self-reliance, self-management, and collective peace. We achieve these by collaborating with key stakeholders to foster development and advancement by equipping the society with the requisite knowledge, information, and skills to champion their own course. Hope Interactive (HI), an award-winning NGO established in 2001, is well-known for its national and grassroots community development work across the nation.

Hope interactive is committed to the promotion of innovative approach to positive human development, and behaviour pattern through interaction and exchange of values and ideas.

Nexus social care foundation is an non governmental organization located at Damauturu

NEYIF is a National Non-Governmental, Non for Profit, Humanitarian and Development Organization that promotes an all-inclusive society for all.

NEYIF work in creating access and linking most vulnerable members of the community to humanitarian support and assistance. In the last years, NEYIF had engaged in Profiling, Identification, Registration, Tracking, Supporting and provision of humanitarian assistance to communities affected by conflict, at risk and host communities through Food Assistance, Livelihood support, Agriculture Support, Education, Health and Nutrition, WASH, Shelter, Protection, GBV, CBT and others with support of Donors (Direct or Indirect) funded project.

NEYIF also Implement Development Project such Governance, Education, Health, Environment, Human Right, WASH and Empowerment.

NEYIF work in most difficult and hard to reach environment just for care, welfare and promoting status of Youth, Women, Children, Girls, Orphans, Less Privilege, Disables, Minorities, IDPs, Refuges and Aged Groups.

NEYIF had recorded tremendous success in project implementation by adhering to Humanitarian Principles, Transparency and Accountability, Judicious Resources Utilization, Coordination, Networking and Synergy (with Partners, Government, Donor, Philanthropist and Private Sector).
